- Redlinks, redlinks, redlinks (check city/town pages plus calendar)
- Guidebook-ify the Leaver's Handbook
- Outdoors • Sports#Watching
- Give teaching activities their own page + categorize them
- Expand major festivals (use Kumano Fireworks as mold)
- Add "Links" section to each city/town, include official site
- Ask about good doctors (again), among other things
- Expand do's and don'ts
I'm Jeff Case, former miejets.org site admin who lived in Mie as a JET for 5 years, originally from Dayton, Ohio in the US.
I currently work in Tokyo as a software engineer and work for a major Japanese web portal.
Though I'm not around much anymore, I have a strong affinity for working on this Guidebook, and worked hard over time to improve it in terms of actual content, readability (formatting), ease of navigation, and appeal. Slowly, but surely, it is getting better (and bigger). Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Better yet, if you have any knowledge or wisdom regarding Mie, please don't hesitate to add it to our informational library!
